ABOUT US
The Friends of Camp Turrell (FOCT) is an affiliate of the Boy Scouts in Northern New Jersey. The FOCT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit benevolent organization that promotes the aims and values of Scouting in Northern New Jersey, with a specific focus on supporting Camp Turrell. Camp Turrell is a Boy Scout resident camp in New York where scouts from Northern New Jersey go for a week in the summer to learn life skills in leadership, service, outdoor skill, fitness, and personal, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Created and supported by alumni and friends, the FOCT exists to support the Camp in various ways, including program investments, capital improvements, and camperships (scholarships) for young men and women who cannot afford to avail themselves of the incredible experiences offered by the Camp.
